Aromatic anhydride cured epoxy resin water resistance is better than aromatic diamine and aliphatic polyamine curing agent, triethylenetetramine curing agent alkali resistance is good, but acid resistance and resistance to formaldehyde solution is poor, alicyclic polyamine (such as isophorone diamine) cured epoxy resin drug resistance is excellent, anhydride curing agent cured epoxy resin alkali resistance is better than acid resistance, should be based on the different uses and performance requirements to choose the appropriate curing agent.

Several kinds of curing agent composite use, can receive complementary effect, for example, low molecular polyamide curing agent with a small amount of meso-Urse D curing agent, both room temperature curing, but also can make the curing material toughness increase at the same time to improve heat resistance appropriately, trimellitic anhydride (TMA) and methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride composite use, the eutectic mixture viscosity is low (25 ℃, 200 ~ 250 mPa-s), easy to mix with epoxy resins each other and improve the manufacturability.

The selected curing agent should be non-hazardous to human body and non-polluting to the environment. Diaminoethane should never be used as curing agent alone, and modified amine curing agent should be used as much as possible.
